If this is your first time visiting, we welcome you and appreciate your support. Thank you for being a part of the homeschool community and encouraging others to do the same! We look forward to connecting more during this rich and wonderful journey! Below, we’ve listed a few simple ways to get involved.

Encouraging Connection

Connection is important for everyone including those within the homeschool community. Homeschoolers have chosen a road less traveled, but that doesn’t mean we must walk this path alone. There are many who have paved the way before us and there are more and more families joining us on this journey every day.

Become a Ambassador

We believe that God created each of us with the ability to raise and educate our children. With a few exceptions, any family who desires to homeschool their children can.

By becoming a Homeschool Ambassador (you or your homeschool group), you can help us share this messages of encouragement and connect families with educational and community resources to inspire them to get started or continue on their homeschooling journey.

Homeschool Ambassadors may also qualify to earn commissions on purchases made from links shared (like rsvping for the event) in our marketplace launching later this year.

Become an Event Sponsor

We need help finding good homeschooler-owned businesses to sponsor our upcoming free, online homeschool event. Homeschool families are often single-income, so we want to support our homeschool entrepreneurs by bringing awareness to their businesses. Event Sponsors get an exclusive listing in the Event Sponsor Directory for the sponsor category in their state and the businesses can be homeschool or non-homeschool related. Most events like what we’re hosting go after a handful of national sponsors willing to pay thousands of dollars but we’re trying to help local businesses owned by homeschoolers for a significantly lower cost.

Our event sponsors essentially fund the Homeschool Days Giveaway and can help us help more families with their homeschool needs. The more sponsors we get to sign up for their state, the more families we can select in the giveaway.

Want to help us find event sponsors while raising money for your homeschool group? Your homeschool group will be compensated up to $1,380 when businesses sign up for an exclusive sponsor category, as we’d rather directly support the homeschool community financially than pay for ads. We’ve found that many of the homeschool families in our communities own their own businesses and want to support the free event. If you or a few trustworthy parents in your group are willing to contact homeschooler-owned businesses, direct your group leader to become a Local Group

A Message From the Founders

Homeschool Days was an idea that started in January 2020 with a goal to support the homeschool community. At that time we were a homeschooling family of seven, with our children ranging from toddler to highschool freshman. Like many of you, we started our homeschool research when our first child was still in the belly. We’ve since added another little one to our crew, born in 2022, and look forward to many more years of learning alongside our children.

When we began developing HSD, our hope was to accomplish several important goals:

  • Provide a way for homeschoolers to support fellow homeschoolers (including alumni) during every part of their journey.
  • Make finding resources easier.
  • Make finding local groups and programs easier.
  • Make finding homeschool events easier.
  • Make finding volunteer and job opportunities for homeschool students easier.
  • Financially support homeschool programs and students through educational grants.
  • Create ways for homeschoolers to support homeschoolers.

We are also big fans of homeschooling remaining private, with little to no restrictions, in order to allow families the flexibility to instill a love of learning within each child, and to choose methods and paths that best suit each child’s needs. We understand the concerns of many veteran homeschoolers who have fought and continue to fight for pro-homeschool laws and parental freedoms.

Personally, we’ve been blessed with wonderful friendships and mentors who’ve helped us, and continue to help us maintain a healthy and peaceful family rhythm through the seeds of wisdom and knowledge they’ve planted into our lives. There is so much value in gleaning from the experience and guidance of others, so we hope HSD will do for you what our mentors have done for us. We hope you will both give and receive value from the HSD community. And, we hope the best for your homeschool days.

Blessings from our family to yours,

The Scotts
